Robert Merritt MD, FACS

Dr. Robert Merritt is a board-certified otolaryngologist who sees patients across our locations. He is a talented ENT provider and surgeon, who aims to help his patients with lasting relief. Dr. Merritt began his education at the University of North Carolina where he obtained a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to the Medical College of Georgia to obtain his Doctor of Medicine. He continued at the Medical College of Georgia to complete his internship and residency in the Department of Otolaryngology. He was a member of the United States Air Force for four years before being honorably discharged.

He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and a member of several professional organizations. This includes the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and the Polk County Medical Association.

Robert Merritt MD graduated from the University of North Carolina and completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He then went on to complete his internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia, before joining the United States Military.
